We are a jewelry duo. It all started over shared childhood memories of smashing pennies on train tracks. This idea, coupled with a necessity for original jewelry that’s not all sparkles and glitter, was the beginning of what we now call apfyt (ap-fit).
Hand made in East Van, each piece is one of a kind and unique. All created with materials sourced from around the city such as disassembled antique jewelry to scrap leather, gemstones, arrowheads, feathers and keys, all hanging on sterling silver, 14k gold fill, leather cord or vintage chain. Many pieces feature flattened coins of some sort, sometimes with secret sayings on them…. whatever tickles our fancy.
